Vernon A. Peryea Jr. OD - Dr. of Optometry

Dr. Peryea was born and grew up in the Finger Lakes Region in Auburn, New York. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology and his Doctorate at the University of Houston where he graduated Cum Laude; Beta Sigma Kappa.

Dr. Peryea and his wife, Min, live in Cortland Manor with their two children.

Assisting Dr. Peryea in his practice is Dr. Steven L. Cohen, OD

Dr. Steven L Cohen, OD, is an Optometry specialist. He attended and graduated from Suny Optometry school in 1994, he has over 25 years of diverse experience.

Dr. Cohen examines, diagnoses, treat, and manage diseases, injuries, and disorders of the visual system, the eye, and associated structures as well as identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye.  Dr. Chin sees patients in the Hopewell and Millbrook offices while Dr. Cohen sees patients in Hopewell, Peekskill, and Millbrook.

Deborah- CPOT – Office Manager/Certified Technician

Debbie has been at the Hopewell office for over twenty years and is an ongoing member of the American Optometric Association. Debbie and her husband are residents of Hopewell Junction. She is an active member of her community and is a parishioner of St. Columba Church and teaches second grade Religious Education.

Kathy – Optometric Assistant

Cynthia – Receptionist/Insurance Manager

Cynthia is knowledgeable in all aspects of insurance issues having many years of experience in the medical field. She will be happy to assist you with your insurance, billing questions, and scheduling your appointments.
